Okay, so a few months back I took the buzzfeed quiz, "Which Disney Princess are You?", and I got Anna.
Which makes sense, because I'm the age that she is speculated to be, and I'm just as upbeat, awkward, and trusting as she is. And I'm a natural redhead. =) What I didn't know or realize was that a lot of other aspects of my life are similar to hers.
I was lonely as a little girl, "just watching the hours tick by".
I grew up, looking for love.
And one magical day, I found it!!! Our first date, it seemed we were both just stricken. It was awkward...
...But adorable. I was in love!
The second time we saw each other, we spent the whole day together.
Later on that night, in context with the conversation, I told him a secret about something about myself that really troubles me.
He seemed to genuinely care.
And then, later that night, something crazy happened. He proposed!!
And then something even crazier happened. I said yes!!
(Sidenote: It wasn't a formal proposal with a ring or anything, he asked me to elope with him. We had known each other for three months before we ever went out. We talked a lot when we first met, but more as friends, although I could sort of feel a little spark between us. My family didn't approve him though, and I knew the only way I could REALLY be with him is if we eloped, and I was so in love that I threw caution to the wind. I had NOT known him for only one day as Anna had known Hans. However, as in frozen, it was only the second time we went out that he proposed, and I accepted. Moving along!)
But, long story short, it turned out that eventhough he seemed so genuine... he had ulterior motives. Everything that I thought he was was a lie.
And he left me, in the cold.

But the story doesn't end there.
Somewhere out there, there's a Kristoff.
I won't be ready to love again for a long... long time.
But someday I will be.
And he'll be there.
I just know it.
